DIY Flyback TESTER
ito kinonvert ko na mismu sa english version..

Important notice:
The present article describes how to make a circuit to test the performance of horizontal output transformer, better known as Fly-back (also called "line-transformer). Surely you are aware, this device handles a very high voltage, so it should be very cautious in handling to not suffer a very unpleasant experience, in fact, it is recommended that the evidence shown here are only carried out personnel with experience in the television service. If you are a student, we recommend that you seek advice from their teachers, both for assembly and handling of the tester.
Structure Tester Fly-backs
The Fly-back tester that we are recommending, is formed by a power source, an oscillator, a transistor and a display meter which can be an analog multimeter.
Block Diagram
Figure 1-A we present the block diagram of the tester; may notice that the oscillator signal 555 (which is a high frequency oscillation which emulates the horizontal oscillation) is given by the terminal 3 and reaches the transistor Q1 base , which amplifies it and applies it to the primary of the Fly-back. The parts list is shown in Table 1.

C4 = 0.001uF ceramic
IC1 = LM555
SW1 = switch (push button)
* 1 Fuse holder & 1 Fuse 0.5A
* 1 line cord with plug
* 1 plastic box
* 1 Milliammeter 500mA or analog multimeter has that scale.
* 5 Conetores banana, female
* 3 Conetores banana, male, 1 black, 2 red.
Schematic
Figure 1-B present the tester and the circuit diagram in Figure 2-A printed circuit diagram.
Assembly Instructions
Install the components in the appropriate place in the circuit board and make the appropriate holes in the plastic chassis to position the LED indicator, switch, power transformer and the terminals for the current meter. Make relevant connections (Figure 2-B and C).
This tester can be operated even if no current meter, in which case they should be a jumper between terminals where it is connected, but could not measure the power consumption range that would have the Fly-back.
Fly-backs test
To test Fly-backs, s? What connect the transformer primary output of the tester (observing the connections that are the collector and B + in the Fly-back) and press the switch push button (Figure 2-D). If the device is in good condition, they immediately hear? the oscillation? n (including collecting the? stico smell of ozone) and the meter is duty? indicate a current 100 to 190 mA as m? maximum, if the current value is greater than 200 mA, it is very likely that there is a problem in the Fly-back. (*)
This test is very din? Mica to know if high voltage, since it checks both the state of the diodes they are up n the inside of the Fly-back as if there is a short in the transformer.
Even, to see if there is a suitable high voltage, may? To bring the output corresponding to a ground point f? Music (a tuber? A) to observe the current arc.
Medici? No leaks in the Fly-back
If you suspect the Fly-back has internal leakage, also? N can be verified by the circuit tester; to do this, simply locate the respective terminal and grounded? Cocktails in the corresponding terminal of the tester, in case that the current flowing through? s transformer primary increases above 200 mA (*), the m? s certain is that the current is est? earth arching inside the device. Under these conditions, pr? Just about would not have? m? s choice to replace the Fly-back with a new one.
(*) Note: Because the current can vary, depending on the gain of the transistor used, it is suggested to try different Flyback (14, 20, 27 "and PC monitors) in good condition to get an idea m? S about readings that can occur in each case.
Safety measures
We urge you to take some safety measures. For example, always work on a dry wood or alg? N acr? Lic, this will avoid suffering any discharges? Electrical, no s? You to try a fly-back, but also? N when repairing electronic equipment? Nico .
Another recommen? No, you do not touch any of the free end of the Fly-back while testing, since it exposes a very unpleasant shock, which can be very risky people with heart disease. Out of these recommendations b? Lowed, the use of this circuit is very safe and easy.
