flash drive.-write protected error-

mga master patulong naman,, hindi q na kasi ma format ang flashdrive na 2...na dedetect pa naman sya ng computer, nakikita ko pa ang mga files na naka stored, pero hindi aq maka pag delete or maka dag.dag ng kahit anung files,,,kasi naka write protected sya....panu kaya 2 mga sir?..tnx.

Ano ba hitsura ng flash drive nyo? Kung memory card at ginagamitan u ng card reader at adaptor kelangan u muna i-unlock. Check u ung gilid ng adaptor nyo.... may switch jan...

wala na bang valuable files kuya? nasubukan mo na ba kuya sa DOS mode?
Open a DOS command window:
1.Start>run and type cmd then click 'OK'
2.Type: format <drive>: where <drive> is the drive letter assigned to the memory stick shown in Windows Explorer.
3.At message: "Insert new disk ....." press 'Enter' key.
4. At message "Format cannot run because volume is in use ........ would you like to force a dismount on this volume? <Y/N>" press the 'Y' key.

USB devise will then be reformatted and usable in Windows XP & 7

NOTE: ALL DATA ON THE USB DEVICE WILL BE DELETED.

pwede din subukan sa diskmanagement
Go to run type diskmgmt.msc
Right click your usb
Then choose format
Then choose fat32
Then hit ok
Wait for 100%
pag ayaw niyang pumayag

subukan niyo naman sa regedit
in Run command type regedit
then goto:
1:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\
2:SYSTEM\
3:CurrentControlSet\
4:Control\
5:storagedevicepolicies
then go on write protection on the storagedevicepolicies.
double click on write protection and change the hexadecimal value to 0.

if storagedevicepolicies is not found then single click on control and goto edit of toolbar
then goto New and then key
write the key name as storage device policies
then a new folder named storagedevicepolicies is created
click on storagedevicepolicies and
then go on write protection on the storagedevicepolicies.
double click on write protection and change the hexadecimal value to 0.

HOPE YOU HAVE DONE IT
Then Try to format your Write Protected usb Drive IT might Work..
if none i think you need a software Repair tool

few brand lang ang supported pero kong genuine ang fd niyo. subukan niyo na lang bisitahin ang mga supporting website nila. may free ufd repair tool naman binibigay ang mga ito just like you are updating a drivers on your computer.
